Wynter Kuchiak

Wynter Ebzenia Leigh Kuchiak slipped away like a thief in the night with her devoted followers by her side on June 13, 2022.

Wynter was predeceased by her great grandparents Jean and John Kuchiak, her great grandmother Dorothy Solomon, her Aunt Jody Bannon, her Uncle John Hautala and Sluggo (George).

From the moment she came into this world, her parents Janet Kuchiak and Micheal Boucher (Angie) and her brother Garrett (Jessica) Kuchiak knew they were in for a ride. Wynter always did things her way and never held back. Whenever anyone told her she couldn’t she set out to show that she could and almost always proved them wrong.

Wynter was always up for an adventure, especially the ones she created and everyone was invited whether you were her grandparents Charlene and Rick Prestidge, Joan Boucher and Wayne Johnston, her aunts and uncles Mary Lou Hautala, Pat (Dennis) Bodner, Wanda Kuchiak, Colin Graham, Amanda (Bruce) Allan, Ashely (Chris) Edwards, Tracy Boucher, Summer Boucher, Aurelia Boucher, Bridget Perrier or her cousins Cheyanne, Brianna, Brandon, Brooke, Dylan, Shayla, Gavin, Nicole, Keirra, Aalaya, Michael, Briar, Soleil, Jermayn, Austin, Jonathon, Nathan, Peanut, Amaya, Isla or you were lucky enough to be her friend (human or fur!) or her ride or die Odin.

The only thing bigger than the circle of lives that she touched was the size of her heart. Everyone that met Wynter was instantly drawn to her and if not, she found a way to win you over. When Wynter chose you to be one of her people, she loved you purely and unconditionally. She saw past all differences and faults, she saw you for what was in your heart and would protect you fiercely.

Wynter wasn’t afraid to try anything, she met every challenge with a strength and confidence unmatched by any other. Wynter wasn’t just strong, she WAS strength. She was a warrior and when presented with a battle like no other and Janet by her side they fought ferociously, far beyond what anyone could have ever imagined. Through the years they had some help from some very special people, Alana from VON, Dr. Stallwood, Dr. Davenport, Dr. Bannon, everyone at Partners in Rehab and Holland Bloorview and Al Hunter.

For everyone who was blessed to walk with Wynter in her journey of life… she says “You’re welcome!!!”
