Zona Jane Dumoulin

Mrs. Zona Jane Dumoulin (nee Parsons) age 77 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at St. Joseph's Hospice Unit on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born in Owen Sound, Zona has been a longtime resident of Thunder Bay for 40 years. She was an active person who enjoyed playing darts, camping and fishing. Zona's true love was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Laura (Glen), sons: Eddie, Thomas, Roger, Larry, Peter (Leona) and Phillip (Holly), grandchildren: Patrick, Jamie, Jennifer, Christine, Carrie-Lynn, Courtney, Brittany, Brandon, Shaylee, Ashley, Stephanie and Corey, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Elva and Percival Parsons, siblings, Jack Parsons, Marie Huard, Violet Secord (Babe), Sandy Parsons and Floyd Parsons.

The family would like to give a special Thank You to the Nurses on 4N at St. Joseph's Hospice for your care and compassion.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Ed Long presiding. Cremation will follow and a interment of ashes will be held at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Sargent & Son Funeral Home.
