THUNDER BAY -- The Canadian Press is reporting voting issues could delay election results in up to 19 Ontario ridings on Thursday night, including Thunder Bay-Atikokan and Kiiwetinoong.
Polls are expected to close at 9 p.m. across Ontario, but because voting has been extended at 27 polling stations in the 19 affected ridings, counting can't start until the polls close.
The delays are expected to last between 10 minutes and two hours.
The 19 ridings affected include:Algoma-Manitoulin, Brantford-Brant, Cambridge, Don Valley West, Etobicoke Centre, Flamborough-Glanbrook, Mississauga East-Cooksville, Mississauga-Lakeshore, Oakville, Ottawa-Vanier, Parry Sound-Muskoka, Perth-Wellington, Sarnia-Lambton, Simcoe North, Thunder Bay-Atikokan, University-Rosedale, Whitby, York Centre, Kiiwetinoong.
