15 charged after police raid Toronto marijuana dispensary

TORONTO — Fifteen people are facing drug charges after Toronto police raided a downtown marijuana dispensary earlier this week. Police say they searched the Canna Clinic dispensary Monday evening and seized close to 169 kilograms of marijuana, 14.

TORONTO — Fifteen people are facing drug charges after Toronto police raided a downtown marijuana dispensary earlier this week.

Police say they searched the Canna Clinic dispensary Monday evening and seized close to 169 kilograms of marijuana, 14.5 kg of marijuana oil, 4.9 kg of the marijuana-related drug shatter, as well as more than $14,400 in cash.

Each of the 15 accused is charged with three counts of drug possession for trafficking purposes, three counts of drug possession and one count of possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime. 

They are scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 23.
