16-year-old boy killed in single-vehicle crash in northwestern Ontario

DRYDEN, Ont. — A 16-year-old boy has died after a single-vehicle crash in northwestern Ontario. Ontario Provincial Police say the teenage driver lost control of a small two-door car near Dryden late Saturday night.

Ontario Provincial Police say the teenage driver lost control of a small two-door car near Dryden late Saturday night.

They say the car left the roadway, and came to rest up against a rock cut.

Police say the driver, Nikolas Ho, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the passenger, an 18-year-old from Dryden, Ont., was taken to hospital for treatment as a precaution.

Police say they're continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
