Bus driver charged in Oct. collision that left several seniors injured

DENBIGH, Ont. — A 67-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into a single-vehicle collision involving a bus carrying about 50 seniors. Provincial police say the bus ended up in a ditch on Highway 28 just east of Denbigh, Ont.

DENBIGH, Ont. — A 67-year-old man has been charged following an investigation into a single-vehicle collision involving a bus carrying about 50 seniors.

Provincial police say the bus ended up in a ditch on Highway 28 just east of Denbigh, Ont., on Oct. 14.

They say many of the seniors suffered minor injuries in the collision about 165 kilometres west of Ottawa.

Robert Bell, of Stone Mills Township, Ont., has been charged with careless driving.
