Dryden police officer charged with impaired driving while off duty

DRYDEN, Ont. — A police officer in Dryden, Ont., has been charged with impaired driving while off duty. The Dryden police service announced that the charge is in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in Thunder Bay, Ont., on June 18.

The Dryden police service announced that the charge is in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in Thunder Bay, Ont., on June 18.

It says the 13-year veteran of the Dryden police service — whose name has not been released — is currently on leave.

The Dryden police service has also begun an investigation under the Ontario Police Services Act.  (CKPR)
