TORONTO — Eight people were injured Thursday evening in a crash between a Toronto transit bus and a minivan van in the city's west end (on The West Mall near Rathburn Road).
Paramedics say one person suffered a serious head injury while the others were being treated for minor back and neck injuries.
Police say between 20 and 40 people were inside the bus and witnesses say six people were in the minivan.
The Toronto Transit Commission says the bus driver is among the injured and they are co-operating with investigators. (CP24)
