MARATHON, Ont. -- Firefighters Marathon, Ont. were dispatched to an apartment fire at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
Senior fire officials say the 32-unit apartment building, formerly known as the Everest Bayview, was unoccupied at the time of the blaze.
Water and hydro services were both shut off to the building, which was recently condemned, about three weeks ago.
Residents are still being asked to stay away from the scene to allow crews to continue their work.
