Murder charge laid after man found dead in Tweed home

TWEED, Ont. — Provincial police say a 36-year-old man is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of a 53-year-old man from Tweed, Ont.

TWEED, Ont. — Provincial police say a 36-year-old man is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of a 53-year-old man from Tweed, Ont.

OPP say the deceased man, identified as Dartt MacPherson, was found dead at a home on Saturday.

Police say Samuel Koch, of Tweed, has been charged with first-degree murder.

They say Koch is scheduled to appear in court in Belleville, Ont., on Sept. 7.
