Pedestrian suffers head injuries in crash, police say no charges against driver

OSHAWA, Ont. — A 76-year-old pedestrian is in hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Oshawa, Ont. Police say the incident took place on Thursday, around 5:30 p.m.

Police say the incident took place on Thursday, around 5:30 p.m.

They say a vehicle was being driven down a street by a 68-year-old woman when the man suddenly stepped into the path of the car.

Police say the driver of the car was not injured and no charges are expected to be laid against her.

Durham Regional Police's collision investigation unit is looking into the incident.
