BRAMPTON, Ont. — Firefighters say seven people were taken to hospital after an early Saturday morning blaze at an apartment building in Brampton, Ont.
The Brampton fire department says it was called to the fire at around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Seven people suffered from smoke inhalation and were treated in hospital.
All of them have since been released, according to the Brampton fire department.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Peel regional police are treating the fire as suspicious.
