CHARLOTTETOWN — More than 94,000 people in P.E.I. have received an unauthorized spam message from the P.E.I. government.

The government issued a statement Monday warning residents not to open an emailed newsletter titled: "Tonight's Winner is Drawn in 10 Hours."

The email includes a link, which should not be opened.

The province says its e-mail newsletter system was accessed without authorization on Sunday.

The e-mail system was taken offline when the hacking was discovered.
