GRAVENHURST, Ont. — Two men have died in the crash of a small plane in central Ontario.
The plane went down Friday along Highway 11 near the community of Gravenhurst in the province's Muskoka region.
Ontario Provincial Police identified the victims as Ted Dirstein, 66, of Bracebridge, and Allan Metivier, 48, of Stratford.
Police say the plane had departed Muskoka Airport shortly before it crashed.
Highway 11 was closed for a period of time but have since been re-opened.
The Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the crash.
