Two people dead after shooting in east end Toronto

TORONTO — Two people are dead following a shooting in east-end Toronto late Monday night. Officers were called to the area of Logan Avenue and Gerrard Street East at around 11:50 p.m.

TORONTO — Two people are dead following a shooting in east-end Toronto late Monday night.

Officers were called to the area of Logan Avenue and Gerrard Street East at around 11:50 p.m. for a reported shooting, and on arrival, found one male suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

The man, who police say is in his 20s, was later pronounced dead in hospital.

The man was able to tell police and paramedics that a female victim was inside a home several blocks away (near Pape and Danforth Ave.).

Paramedics say she was found in the home without vital signs and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any names, nor any information on possible suspects. (CP24)
