MABERLY, Ont. — One person is dead following a crash on Monday afternoon on Highway 7 near Maberly, Ont.
Provincial police say it happened at about 4:30 p.m. near Silver Lake Provincial Park west of Perth.
Two vehicles were involved and one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second driver was taken to hospital in Kingston with serious injuries.
No names or ages have been released.
Detours around the scene of the accident were expected to remain in place until at least 11 p.m.
