SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. — Police say a 54-year-old woman has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash that also injured two children.

The Ontario Provincial Police say the incident happened Friday afternoon on Batchewana First Nation, near Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

They say the ATV hit a stump and rolled over.

Investigators say a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl were passengers on the ATV, which was only intended for a single person.

They've identified the deceased as Suzanne Ross of Sault Ste. Marie.

Police say all three people on the ATV were wearing helmets.

The two children who were on the ATV suffered minor injuries in the crash.
