Skiers can enjoy the slopes during the New Year’s Day Ski by Donation event, running from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned skier, it's a great way to kick off 2025 while supporting a good cause. The outdoor ice rink at Prince Arthur's Landing is open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering a picturesque setting for an afternoon of skating by the lake.
Later in the day, lace up your skates again for the 16+ Skate from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., a perfect way to wind down the first day of the new year with friends or family. With these exciting activities, Thunder Bay is starting the year on a high note!
