Thunder Bay comes alive today with a vibrant mix of arts, music, theatre, and community celebrations. The Superior Quilt Show opens at noon, offering an afternoon of colour, creativity, and craftsmanship. Later in the day, The Great Benjamins Circus: Under the Big Top brings thrilling family fun to the CLE Grounds starting at 4:30 pm, with additional circus performances scheduled through the evening.

At 5:30 pm, enjoy live tunes from the Five Man Acoustical Band at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 5, followed by a smooth blend of jazz and cocktails with Jazz And Old Fashioned Fridays With Mood Indigo at multiple venues, including Anchor & Ore and Monty's Joint. Music lovers can also catch Mark Potvin and Mike Carson Live at Monty's Joint, starting at 6:00 pm.

Theatre takes centre stage at 7:00 pm with Bandani Theatre Company Senior Class Presents Sponge Bob The Musical, The SPONGEBOB musical at Paramount Theatre, and Cambrian Players Presents The Musical A Year With Frog And Toad The Musical. For fans of Canadian music, Séan McCann - The Great Big Canadian Road Trip will be performing at both St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and another city venue. Meanwhile, The Great Benjamins Circus returns with an evening show at 7:30 pm.

As the night deepens, enjoy live entertainment with BAR POLONIA - FRIDAYS LIVE MUSIC, Boomtown at the Wayland, and The Selfies at The Foundry, all starting from 8:00 pm onward. For those seeking a more artistic outlet, the North Region - Thunder Bay - Caregiver Pottery Paint Night at Pick-UpThe HIVE offers a relaxing way to unwind. Lastly, don’t miss Young Company Presents: The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at Magnus Theatre, rounding out a full day of culture, laughter, and community spirit in Thunder Bay.
