Good Morning Thunder Bay – Friday, July 25, 2025
It's a fantastic Friday in Thunder Bay with a full schedule of fun, from family activities and outdoor entertainment to live music and nightlife. There’s no shortage of ways to kick off your weekend in style.
Start your morning with some magical fun at Wizarding Week at The Paramount, then cool off at the Marina Park Splash Pad or hop aboard The Muskeg Express at Centennial Park, both starting at 11:00 a.m. In the afternoon, enjoy rides at Chippewa Park Amusement Rides and Concession, or take a refreshing dip during the Toonie Swim At the Canada Games Complex at 6:00 p.m.
As evening sets in, the city comes alive with options for every vibe. Choose from live music with Jazz and Old Fashioned Fridays ft Mood Indigo, Jazz Night with Mood Indigo at Anchor & Ore, or catch DJ Ducktail at Woodside Bar. Sports fans can cheer on the home team at the Thunder Bay Border Cats Game at 6:35 p.m. For something unique, check out La francophonie dans tous ses états, or head to BUSKERS KICK OFF PARTY at Goods & Co Market Woodside.
Later in the night, enjoy Lies and Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin at Magnus Theatre’s outdoor stage, then keep the fun going with BAR POLONIA – FRIDAYS LIVE MUSIC, the Toga Party for Amy’s 40th ft V3nom, or live sets by The Selfies at The Foundry and White Rhino at the Wayland Bar and Grill. And if you’re still not done, Throwback at The Foundry closes out the night at 10:00 p.m.
Happy Friday, Thunder Bay—make the most of it!
