Nomination:
I would like to nominate "Angels in Aprons" as our holiday heroes.
This group of people regularly volunteers at Shelter House in Thunder Bay. They go shopping for food - they pay for the food out of their own pockets. They plan the meals, prepare and serve also. They have been together for a couple of years and are always accepting new volunteers.
We are so fortunate to have them in our community volunteering at Shelter House! If they won, they would use their money to help the clients of Shelter House to feed hungry. They are Holiday Heroes!
Nomination:
"Angels in Aprons" are an amazing group of selfless volunteers. they just made porgies and ham for the community and it was absolutely amazing, a wonderful bunch of people who cook for others at their own cost. my Holiday Heros are the "Angels in Aprons".
