Melissa is a mother of 3, with a huge heart and a great love for Thunder Bay.
During the summer of 2018, she dedicated hundreds of hours to help clean up the city with the Green dream team.
She dove head first into all group projects, such as our hot chocolate walks, our events at the underground gym and the planning for blessing boxes being installed around town.
Melissa has lived hardships but that doesn't get in the way of her efforts to better the community and lend anyone who needs it, a helping hand. She brings her three children to many events in hopes to set a good example of love, care and empathy.
Her selflessness, hard work and dedication to the team's initiative deserve recognition. These are just a few reasons why she deserves to be a Holiday Hero.
