Editorial: Santa's list has grown

Santa’s been making his list and checked it two or three times, and it looks like he will indeed pay a visit to some of Thunder?Bay’s more visible residents on Saturday night.

Santa’s been making his list and checked it two or three times, and it looks like he will indeed pay a visit to some of Thunder?Bay’s more visible residents on Saturday night.

Topping his delivery list is Mayor Keith Hobbs, who survived his first year in office, and really got his present early when the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup.

However, we at TB?Source have it on good authority that Hobbs was seen at Intercity Shopping Centre recently having a conversation with the jolly fat guy, asking for a year without controversy.

New York Rangers defenceman Marc Staal has asked for a giant bottle of extra-strength Tylenol to help his post-concussion headaches go away, while Chicago forward Patrick Sharp never wants this fairytale season to come to an end.

Both Michael Gravelle and Bill Mauro have requested an NDP or Conservative MPP see the light and cross the floor to join the Liberals and reinstate their majority.

Meanwhile Coun. Trevor Giertuga wants a stash of signs telling the truck drivers on Dawson Road to take a hike and Nishnawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief Stan Beardy is hoping Santa delivers a guide to help his people survive life in the city, after the tragedies that have struck First Nations teens in recent years.

Merry Christmas one and all!
