On Saturday, March 2 at the West Thunder Community Centre from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bill Beavis will be celebrating his 90th birthday. You are all invited to join Bill and his family in this remarkable event.
For many years Bill was the manager of the Fort William Gardens – you could always spot him at a hockey game wearing a fedora and standing at the western entrance to the rink. He went on to be the second superintendant of arenas and stadia after amalgamation, then took on the top job of manager of parks and recreation, which he retired from.
Please share this invitation widely. If you know anyone whose path (or past) crossed Bill’s, tell them to come and say “Happy birthday, Bill!”
