How did Conservative candidate Tamara Johnson (Thunder Bay-Superior North) get this far in politics?
I came across her Facebook page as a result of her recent opinions regarding what she believes are First Nations’ business advantages.
What a joke.
I have a hope and a dream for the future of this country, and I have read enough to know this woman does not have the heart to lead Canada in a forward motion.
She thinks the perk of cheap smokes and gas is an insult to “white business?”
There are very few Canadians who consider the price that the First Peoples have paid and begrudge the benefits they currently have.
In full view, it hardly balances out! Her position on this issue lacks balance and it reeks of racism.
Her position is not new. It’s the very thing this country is fighting to move beyond. I’m still dreaming of a healed Canada.
