While some cuts are necessary and likewise as stated outside a city's abilities to fund or also dependent upon senior levels of government, it may nonetheless be time to examine some of the corporation’s wage structure or in particular its extremes relative to its means. 

More specifically, if you examine the provincial sunshine list, municipal managers are an example of an extreme beyond the means. Further to this, extremes on either end of our social spectrum should perhaps be a concern to individual and societal welfare since on average people are fundamentally at heart more similar than different.

Then again, I state “should” and “perhaps” because politics at some level involves making sense out of such differences. Nevertheless, what that might also mean to climbing the public corporate hierarchy or social responsibility is perhaps an entirely different but still related question?
