To the editor:
The bike lanes in this city are just like many other things we have tried. First we go with a cheap and easy solution, then after a whole bunch of contraversy we either scrap the idea all together or hire high paid consultants with no interest in anything but their payday. Or we spend more money on doing the project in the proper way with the proper materials. In short, sometimes the cheap way actually costs much more.
We as citizens need to start going to council meetings and stop this total waste of our money.
