LETTER: Criminals belong in jail

To the editor: Hey Mr. Thorning, In response to your comment in the story " Truong found guilty ," being in jail does not help rehabilitation and is demeaning. Here is a solution - don't commit a crime. Criminals belong in jail.

To the editor:

Hey Mr. Thorning, In response to your comment in the story "Truong found guilty," being in jail does not help rehabilitation and is demeaning. Here is a solution - don't commit a crime.

Criminals belong in jail. People are now so worried about the rights of criminals that they are putting the good law-abiding citizens at risk.

This individual made the choice to get involved in crime. Did some one force him to choose a life of crime? Probably not. Would you feel the same if it was your finger or one of your children's finger he cut off? Perhaps instead of putting him in jail, we should just say shame on you and please don't kidnap and cut body parts off any more. Criminals belong in jail.
