To the editor,
I've been participating in the Evergreen walks since the beginning, and have noticed a marked difference in the neighbourhood since the walks started a year ago.
People are friendlier and expect to see us week after week. We are an ever-changing group, with a core including the indomitable Linda Bruins.
Evergreen has been doing really good work in the community, and having headquarters in a building that has stood empty, only makes sense.
