To the editor:
What a tremendous 20th anniversary for our film fest. Thunder Bay came through for us once again! Festivities began in grand style right from the start with the memorable gala hosted by Bight restaurant and bar, complemented by the delightful music of the Richard Tribe trio. The positive momentum carried on throughout the festival into strong attendance for several films. The Angels’ Share proved to be the box office champ.
Many thanks to our loyal and enthusiastic patrons, our tireless volunteers, sponsors, management and staff of SilverCity, The UPS Store, the Chronicle-Journal, Dougall Media and our many other media partners, the Film Circuit, Cineplex, festival co-ordinator Catherine Powell, and the industrious NOSFA board for contributing to the festival’s success.
Ultimately, the smiles of gratitude, handshakes, hugs, many “thank you’s” and congratulations made much hard work very worthwhile. Thanks Thunder Bay for a terrific 20th Northwest Film Fest.
