To the editor:
I find it appalling and extremely sad that you chose to post the story "House fire claims life."
That man was an extremely caring person who lived on my block and I find it so unfortunate that I had to find out this way about his death. My children trick-or-treat every year on our block and this is considered front-page news to you?
I read your newspaper everyday and it's an awful thing to wake up to. Deaths should not be plastered on anyone's front page, family notified or not. While this young man just lost his life, your news reporters are standing outside his house taking pictures of it. That is awful. Shame on you, I will be resort to the iInternet to state my opinion on how awful this is and I can almost guarantee you will have an angry audience.
