To the editor:
New Brunswick addressed the gouging by oil companies by bringing in regulated gas, diesel, and furnace oil prices several years ago and , in my opinion, done a great job.
While our prices aren't the lowest in the country, we sure are not among the highest either. We had lots of moaning from so-called experts against the regulations, but by and large, consumers are very happy with gas regulation. Gas regulation works and your government should implement it as a cure for these sudden spikes by unscrupulous oil companies.
