LETTER: Most truckers are good drivers

To the editor: It is idiots like the truck driver passing the snow plow near Nipigon that give all truckers a bad name. If you can identify the name on the side of the trailer or truck the rest can be tracked through the company. Give time and date.

If you can identify the name on the side of the trailer or truck the rest can be tracked through the company. Give time and date. Most often you hear of accidents involving big trucks, but I think that like most accidents the bad drivers give the rest grief from smaller vehicles.

I would pick to drive with or behind a trucker than a smaller vehicle because as a rule most are curtious and good drivers. I drive between Vernon, B.C. and throughout Alberta and have only encountered two lousy truckers in my 40-some-odd years of driving. I hope and pray that this guy gets caught before someone has to die.
