To the editor:
Your story was sent to me via Facebook about the Bahia Pincipe San Juan in the Dominican Republic.
I stayed there in April 2013 with my husband and then 16-year-old son. We didn't have any issues (maybe because I was with guys). I do have the head of guest services on my Facebook, Johanny Arvelo Fornerin.
I tagged her in the story on Facebook and she private messaged me this a short while ago: "Hi Karen, Thank you for send me the notice, I saw it this afternoon at the hotel, I do not know if you believe or not in this story but this is a totally false, this did not happened (sic) in the hotel. The hotel reputation is going down by a liers (sic), and it is not the hotel reputation who is in risk now, it is all families who has anybody working at the hotel...."
So, if you guys are getting no response to the situation from the Hotel, Here is their stance. I don't believe them for a bit. Have you read trip advisor lately? All the insider thefts over Christmas. I was going to go back this April with my sister, but after reading all these stories I will not be returning here again. I no longer feel safe there.
