LETTER: Scams aplenty in NWO

To the editor,

There’s another scam targeting Northwestern Ontario.

This time Atikokan is being blitzed is by an alleged Publishers Clearing House win. They inform you that you have won $2.5 million plus a Mercedes car.

The catch is that they want you to pay one per cent for delivery charges. Any legitimate win does not require you to pay anything.

Plus these guys are not very professional. They’re speaking with broken English.
