To the editor:
When drivers are caught with open liquor or small amounts of drugs in their cars, these are confiscated and the driver charged.
The same should apply to cell phone users and texters.
An individual losing one or two phones, plus fines and deremit points, is going to get the idea and hopefully understand the law.
We all know losing the phones is way worse than any other deterrent.
