To the editor,
The mission island has been home to the deer for years.
We have destroyed enough of their natural habitat already, so please leave them and Mr. Robert McCallum alone.
The bylaw should be going after people who destroy property with garbage, dilapidated buildings, abusive people with their noisy stereos.
Drug abusers and drunk drivers do not get $5,000 fines.
My mother is one of the people that this new bylaw targets. She is quite ill and feeding the deer is her only joy left in life.
