A letter of thanks to all voters in Thunder Bay-Atikokan.

Thousands of you came out in rainy weather and let Queen’s Park know where you stood.

A big thanks to the 964 who voted for me, more than doubling the Green vote from last election.

While I hoped for more (as all politicians outside of the winner do) I appreciate the support I did get.

I was also happy to see my fellow Green candidate, Joseph LeBlanc, get even more votes than I did (993) with both of us coming in fourth.
This despite a couple of organizations refusing to let us talk at public debates and despite our big three opponents having a sizable financial advantage.

Thanks to all my opponents on their determination and dedication to getting their messages out, and congratulations to Bill Mauro on a hard fought win.

John Northey
Green Party candidate,
Thunder Bay-Atikokan
