To the editor:

I had never celebrated Christmas before coming to Canada and had no idea about what Santa really did or what he is.

It’s very nice to see people in Thunder Bay always love to share their Christmas happiness with others and always try to make others festival season great and enjoyable! Happy to see this kind thing here and thank you everyone!

This is my best Christmas year so far and better than last year. Last year it was totally new country for me and had no friends and felt more alone in the holiday, but a kind friend of mine did invite me last year, and I finally got the chance to celebrate and see how Canadian families celebrate Christmas!

There are many newcomers like me who has no place to go for Christmas or holiday and that’s why the idea of celebrating together holiday welcome home gathering came and thanks for your kind support!

The best part for me this Christmas was to giving Christmas cards to our seniors and I will try to continue this and do try to meet more seniors and give them hugs next year. The best gift I got this Christmas was all the friends I have made here in last one year who have supported me, inspired and brought out the best in me and helped to bring a better version of me!

I wish you all Merry Christmas!

You have a great one and thank you Thunder Bay for always having Christmas spirit of giving away and sharing love with everyone!
