Christmas is a time of giving and let us not forget about all the pets who also need our support.
One such agency whose efforts to provide good caring homes for the animals in their care is the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.
Whether your donation is monetary or food for these cats and dogs it will help greatly as these pets await adoption.
Adopting a pet at any time is a great idea and at Christmas can make that special gift.
More than ten years ago I inherited a dog who has become a wonderful little buddy.
Over the years I have taken him to visit and entertain many of the city's seniors citizens. His presence has picked up the spirits of many seniors now residing in senior retirement and long-term care facilities.
The Thunder Bay and District Humane Society is located on Rosslyn Road and your help now and throughout the year would greatly be appreciated.
