To the editor:

As Thunder Bay positions itself as one of Canada’s best outdoor cities, and with the world movement towards green practices, the integrity of the parkland setting of the waterfront development is now being polluted with overdone commercial development.

Now to add insult to injury, a project in the excess of $900,000 for two light beacons (borrowed I might guess from the Twin Towers park of New York and sold to us in the name of cultural art) to pollute the natural beauty of the Sleeping Giant, the rising of the moon, the stars and the Northern Lights.

Whatever happened to the concept of Superior by Nature? I call this logical inconsistency.
