Letter: Walk-On, an initiative worth supporting

I would like to commend Coun. Aldo Ruberto for not only thinking outside the box, but also for having the courage to act in sync with his progressive thoughts and feelings.
I would like to commend Coun. Aldo Ruberto for not only thinking outside the box, but also for having the courage to act in sync with his progressive thoughts and feelings.

I believe that his support of the Walk-On initiative in Thunder Bay at Monday's Council meeting was outstanding.

Thank you to all the councillors who are open to looking at the benefits of this initiative, which are many in my opinion, and to Mr. Ruberto's resolution.

In my opinion, this initiative, supported by Health Canada and the District Health Unit is really worth looking at and implementing as much as we possibly can.

Many cities around the world are doing just that, as they envision a better future for their children.

For that to happen, it takes our decision makers to have open minds. But hey, minds are like parachutes, what good do they do if they're not open?
