There seem to be no walk-ons allowed on city golf courses.
No wonder they are going bankrupt. My brother and I tried to walk-on three times now at Strathcona, but to no avail.
We were told they don’t do walk-ons. That’s ridiculous I would have to assume walk-ons are more than half of a course’s income.
I am neither a letter writer nor have the means to investigate this matter, but what I do know is I sent two emails and called once to my alderman and have yet to get a response.
