Letter: Where’s my apology?

To the editor: I’d like to commend Mayor Keith Hobbs for putting the matter of the Bob Herman lawsuit to rest. Certain members of the media seem to imply he is now eating crow. I beg to differ.
To the editor:

I’d like to commend Mayor Keith Hobbs for putting the matter of the Bob Herman lawsuit to rest. Certain members of the media seem to imply he is now eating crow. I beg to differ.

In this case, I think a public apology shows character, rather than humility, which is more than I can say for the rest of this council and administration.

Where’s the public apology from this city to the taxpayers for the deplorable road conditions? Why doesn’t this administration apologize for the $8.6 million cost overrun for the waterfront development project, when weeks before the election they said it was on budget?

If a hotelier never comes to the waterfront, will we see an apology forthcoming?
