In the run up to the debate on M103 in the House, a motion condemning Islamophobia and all forms of racism, the Liberal Party cited how much support this got on a petition, over 70 000 signatures.

Petition e-616, calling on the Liberals to honour their electoral reform promise, has over 117 000 signatures at the time of this writing.

Does this mean the Liberals will now support electoral reform?

Or do they pick and choose which public support suits them?
