Sudbury, ON, February 23, 106  — Health Canada (2011) reports that more than 80% of Canadians are dying from a chornic illness than an accident, yet the Health and Safety Industry does not include “wellness” as a vital component of it’s policies and procedures.

New Day Wellness (a corporate wellness company in Sudbury Ontario) has just partnered with Employee Wellness Solutions Network and Health Connected to introduce a new on-line corporate wellness platform that allows all companies (even companies in remote areas) to offer a wellness program for their workers that is affordable and easy to implement.

“Bringing Health to Health and SafetyTM is a new concept that requires immediate attention to keep companies profitable especially in a difficult economy. Says Lisa Lounsbury, President and Founder of New Day Wellness. “Although many companies see the benefit of a workplace wellness program, it’s often difficult to find the budget or the time to initiate one.”says Lounsbury.

To accommodate companies large and small and in rural or urban centres in Northern Ontario New Day Wellness is now offering a complete digital health and wellness strategy.  Through this new partnership, on-line Health Risk Assessments, Health Challenges, games, wearable devices and a Digital Health Coach is available which also includes a Wellness-in-a-Box program to create a company’s very own “Health Movement”.

“Wellness is a journey and companies need to start somewhere. Heath Connected is a great way to begin that journey all while having professional guidance by Lisa and her team at New Day Wellness to ensure that journey stays on course.” says Garth Jansen, President and Founder of Employee Wellness Solutions Network.
