Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash involving a 31-year-old man that took place late Friday night.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the collision took place between the intersection of Townline and Government roads just after 11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers say they found that a man had been ejected from his vehicle. Officers found the man lying on the ground.
Paramedics rushed John Hinrichson, of Kaministiquia, to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police conducted a ground search in the area for other occupants.
The investigation is ongoing.
