Dougall Media has been Ange’s workplace for three years now.

“Outreach is reaching out to businesses, organizations, governmental agencies, and trying to get in touch with them to see if they want to have a conversation with us about what they're doing and see if we might connect with some programs.”

Ange really enjoys to help people.

“That's what advertising is all about, but also the news that we do is about helping people because they're more informed about what's going on,” she said.

Ange is also known as "Sunday Wilde" in the music world.

She produces, writes, plays, sings and has had a number of musical projects with musicians from the area and in the USA. She has also organized an international blues women's networking and professional development workshop in Memphis when she attended the blues awards one year.

“I did that for almost 20 years. I played in Memphis about seven times, I also played in Nashville, which was pretty exciting.

“The craziest place I ever played was on the back of a vintage 100-year-old train in Saskatchewan.

“Music is about healing people and sending a message. As a songwriter, it's a message that you're sending, just like advertising.”

Ange said that producing music was healing for herself, as well.

She has nine albums, and was also featured on other albums and thier music videos. Ange has also had a hit number one song on Sirius Radio.

During the pandemic, Ange even hosted some concerts in her front yard.

“That was super fun for the neighbours. They could sit on their front porch; that was fun."

While she has a fun and extroverted side, Ange also holds herself to a high standard of integrity in her personal and professional life.

“I think it's very important that we all support each other in our community, and that includes the businesses, organizations, the stores, and our company as well.”

During the Christmas season, instead of buying her kids' gifts, Ange spends time buying things for people who are unhoused.

She likes to pick out fun stuff for people as well as essentials like socks and underwear.

“It took me about six months to prepare because it costs a lot, and I gave out 40 gifts for all the residents of the John Howard Society.”
