57-year-old woman dies in Beardmore collision

GREENSTONE, Ont. – A 57-year-old Beardmore, Ont. woman is dead after her vehicle wound up overturned in the Black Water River in the Northern Ontario community.

GREENSTONE, Ont. – A 57-year-old Beardmore, Ont. woman is dead after her vehicle wound up overturned in the Black Water River in the Northern Ontario community.

In a release issued on Wednesday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to the call at approximately 1:03 a.m. on Wednesday along with members of the Greenstone Fire Department. They discovered the vehicle had left the road on Garnet Drive and entered the river.

Judy Manning, the sole occupant of the sport utility vehicle, was the lone occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation continues.
