NOTE TO READERS: Our weekly look at the crime statistics now includes the category of quality of life. Some previous Glance at Crime reports looked at crimes reported with the exception of traffic and quality of life cases. After several requests from readers, and due to the fact that quality of life cases do take up a significant portion of police resources, we decided that we would begin including these numbers.
